PIPPIE claims victory in brilliant style for the Meagher Racing Team

The Meagher Team would have been excited, and certainly not disappointed with the way one of their stable stars PIPPIE resumed at Doomben on Saturday when streeting her rivals on path to a Melbourne campaign under Ron Stewart. The win gave the team a double after RICH AFFAIR was able to lead all the way and score in dominant fashion in the fifth win of his career.

The New South Wales debut was a winning one at Rosehill for the Kris Lees trained and Australian Bloodstock owned AGENT PIPPA who led from start to finish for a two length win at odds of $14. It was a great way to end the day for Keith Dryden, Laurel Oak Bloodstock and favourite backers with his smart Smart Witness gelding HANDLE THE TRUTH. Danny Williams Racing claimed a magnificent win with MY BLUE JEANS.

Bruce Watkins would have been delighted when FRED DAG broke a run of placings and came from well back to win at Belmont on Saturday while the Gareth Hall Farewell Handicap was taken out by LORDHELPMERUN who has now won two of his last three starts under Brodie Kirby. Lindsey Smith scored a double when both GLASGOW GIRL and FRIARESQUE came in for the win. CRYPTIC LOVE didnt disappoint for David Harrison who claimed a win.

A soft track assisted the chances of SPECIAL DIVA on Saturday at Caulfield who scored well for the Mick Price Racing team over fellow MiStable clients the Hyland Racing Team. While over in South Australia, metropolitan racing went to Gawler and saw the Richard Jolly Racing team on the board when KEMALPASA broke a run of seconds for an upset win. Cindy Alderson claimed a double win with MISS VIXEN and TURN THE TIDE.

LUCQUES scored a win for  Eric Musgrove and MAGIC PHANTOM claimed a win for Jon O'ConnorIt was also a great day out for Neil Dyer in Darwin who with thanks to MULK and RUTHS BOY went home with a double while Gary Clarke took home a win when ANOTHER BIT was first past the post.
