FABULANSKI claims the Taj Rossi Final setting sights on Vic Derby for trainer Robbie Laing

Robbie Laing is trying to achieve Derby success with FABULANSKI, just as he did with his stallion Polanski, after an upset win in the Taj Rossi Series Final at Flemington on Saturday.

Another blow out result would come in the last when GREAT DUCHESS for the Greg Eurell stable outdid SURE KNEE in the second win of her career under Jye McNeil. Meanwhile a touch of Perth came to Flemington when MALIBU STYLE proved too good in the All Victorian Sprint Series Final for Neville Parnham and son Chris. Danny OBrien also claimed a win when SECOND BULLET was first past the post and Lindsey Smith didn't disappoint with a win from REYKJAVIK.

On the topic of Western Australia, Grant and Alana Williams had a day to remember after debutant CRYPTIC WONDER, the talented TRUE ATTRACTION and MYSTERY MISS as well as NIKITAS gave William Pike a real day out and Pope Racing claimed a win with DANNY GEORGE.

A big international winner for Australian Bloodstock followed on from the win with the Kris Lees trained German import ATTENTION RUN saluting. Adam Duggan scored well with SIR ELTON and Ron Quinton was on the board with an easy watch for favourite backers with LJUNGBERG while Matt Dale went home a winner after NOTATION took out the last.

The Meagher family had a good day out at Doomben when ex-Victorian HANDSOME THIEF got back in the winners stall and 1 hour later NEW HORIZONS and Tegan Harrison delivered the same outcome. Steve ODea was also in the winners stall when JAMI LADY landed the prize at the short odds of $1.70.

Punters also got off to a flyer in Adelaide after STREET SHEIK was back in the winners stall for Patrick Payne and later striked again with HOWLOWCANYOUGO. Speedy mare FILL THE FLUTE also got back to her winning ways for Jamie Edwards.

With Darwin racing hotting up, Michael Hickmott got the job done with COTILLION and Neil Dyer got the cash when GRACIOUS PROSPECT saluted also taking a win with JUNIOR BURGER. Dick Leech Racing had a massive win AMERICAN MUSCLE. Success followed on Sunday for Adam Trinder down in Tasmania as well when DOTHRAKI PRINCESS saluted.
