Williams Racing dominates at Ascot

The focus turned to Western Australia this week and Grant and Alana Williams added to their already long list of achievements with MISSISSIPPI DELTA taking out the Magic Millions Tattersall's Cup, while ARCADIA QUEEN was super impressive to win by 3 lengths in the G2 WA Guineas, but it was stablemate GALAXY STAR who sealed the day's treble for team Williams in the G1 Railway Stakes.

The wins continued at Ascot with a strong finish by Harvey Racing trained MISTY METAL in the LR Jungle Mist Classic. Neville Parnham also delivered on one of the states biggest days when THE NICCONIAN led all the way to make it two straight wins.

Lees Racing hit the board in Sydney after KOOL VINNIE and Tommy Berry teamed up for a last to first triumph while Snowden Racing didn't miss out - putting the polish on NAPOLEON SOLO who looks a very smart Uncle Mo colt.

Metro racing went to Ballarat in Victoria and it didn't take long for Mick Price Racing to hit the board after Zac Spain continued his affinity with NARIKO to win. The team also delivered with LORD SUNDOWNER in Adelaide. Pat Carey looks to have a nice horse on his hands in KHARTOUM who was back in the winners list while the first-up specialist BEL SONIC lived up to his name for the team at Jason Warren Racing.

Tony Gollan didn't muck around striking in Race 1 at Doomben with a comfortable debut win to I Am Invincible filly VINCERE VOLARE. Ron Stewart guided the Munce Racing trained CEOL NA MARA back into winning form while Esprit Racing iron horse IRISH CONSTABULARY was underrated fresh and scored an 11th career victory. Flying Start Syndications was dealt a win with BOLD CHANCE at Doomben.

Celebrations are on for Tiley Racing Stables winning the GR2 Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes with BISOU BISOU and a strong win for Lee Freedman in Singapore with JOMO. 

So many wins for South African trainers over the weekend obviously striking up good pace on the field as Brett Crawford had wins with GIMME ONE NIGHT, ST VLADIMIR, LADY WISTERIA and CRUZ GIOVANNI. Triple winner Sean Tarry did not disappoint with PILOU, RUBY DANCER and CIRILLO, not to be overlooked Mike De Kock acheived wins with HAWWAAM and GHAALLA whilst Paul Lafferty's DARK MOON RISING rose to the occasion and smashed out a win.
