TRAP FOR FOOLS secures Group 1 victory for trainer Jarrod McLean

The biggest week of Australian Racing has come to an end but it wasn't without one of our most loyal clients Ellerton Zahra Racing claiming the VRC Oaks! A huge effort with ARISTIA to back-up last Saturday's Wakeful win to claim the big one.

Saturday was the biggest day in the training career of Jarrod McLean Racing when TRAP FOR FOOLS (pictured) gave his young trainer his first Group 1 success in the time honoured Mackinnon Stakes.

The Flemington success didn't end there when Australian Bloodstock owned TOP PROSPECT saluted under Craig Williams while Sydney raider John Thompson Racing made himself at home when DREAMFORCE saluted in the Group 3 Chatham Stakes.

Ron Quinton Racing Stables got their day and those of favourite backers off to a winning start when ROYAL CELEBRATION made it two on the trot. Rachel King rode TURNBERRY to perfection to score nicely first-up for Kris Lees Racing and Brett Cavanough put the polish on FALERINA who is now a winner of 4 from 9!

Leading syndicators Wylie Dalziel Roy Higgins Racing scored at Morphettville when Written Tycoon mare GOLDEN LUSTRE went home best while Kym Hann Racing continued their domination in Adelaide when LIKE TO THINK SO led from start to finish in the Happy Trails Series Final.

It wouldn't be a Saturday in Perth without Parnham Racing Stables getting a winner and THE NICCONIAN ensured that was the case. Grant and Alana Williams saddled-up QUEEN BEY in a stable quinella while Lindsey Smith didn't miss out when PRIZE CATCH won his 9th race for our friends Belhus Racing Stables.

Lee Freedman continued his winning form in Singapore over the weekend making 3 trips to the winner's circle with stablemates NOWYOUSEE, MAGIC WAND and LIONROCKSPIRIT. Brother Michael Freedman got the job done in Hong Kong with HONEST WAY, while in South Africa Brett Crawford, Glen Kotzen of Woodhill Racing, Mike de Kock and Sean Tarry all went home with winners. A shout out also to Fraser Auret with his win with TENACIOUS in New Zealand.

Congratulations to all our clients who found the winner's circle last weekend.
