Brideoake trained SELF SENSE wins VOBIS Gold Stayers

Jumps racing's new star SELF SENSE (pictured) was back doing his best work on flat at Caulfield on Saturday for Brideoake Racing taking out the $250k VOBIS Gold Stayers.

A great ride from Nathan Punch also guided home CHAMOIS ROAD to victory for Patrick Payne , who has won the Mildura Cup a day earlier.

Cameron Crockett is a young trainer on the rise and his galloper SHARPE HUSSLER scored sharply first-up at Rosehill coming from near last. It opened 50/1 in betting... and started $16!

Northern Territory racing is booming in Darwin and so is the Gary Clarke Racing team with a double thanks to SKY MUSTER scoring as well as JAVA in the Metric Mile!

Belmont was a happy hunting ground for clients starting when Williams Racing won the opener with RED ARMY for favourite backers. Jim Taylor  followed-up after SPILLINOVA, a son of Denman, won his second race in a row. Lindsey Smith Racing Stables of Plastered fame prepared FLYING TIME to an all the way victory under Tayla Stone, while IMPERIAL VENUS got the job done for Gavin Foster. The Parnham Racing Stables didn't miss out after 7yo GREY ENIGMA delivered in the last.

Mick Price Racing made a successful trip to Adelaide when RUN GYPSY RUN came from the back to win at big odds while Travis Doudle Racing got the job done with ex-Victorian STAR PATRIOT scoring in good style. Congratulations also to New Zealand client Redcraze Racing on their win with RED CHOUX'S.

Queensland clients found three winners at Doomben - the first David Murphy after ARCHER'S PARADOX scored in one the final 2yo races of the season. Gollan Racing teamed up with Matthew McGillivray who rode HAPPY HOOVES to his third victory while Steve O'Dea trained SABKHAT to a big win in Race 7.
