Chris Munce finding his rhythm with latest winner 3yo gelding SMART METEOR

As the Magic Millions creeps closer, things are hotting up in more ways than one in Queensland and Chris Munce is really finding his rhythm with his latest winner 3yo Smart Missile gelding SMART METEOR who now has two straight wins to his name thanks to Justin Huxtable. Kelly Schweida also had success after $31 outsider STELLA OMBRA bounced back to winning from at start 57 with win nine for the seven-year-old.

Enver Jusufovic is having a good run after the win of NEIGHBOURHOOD at Pakenham on Saturday who delivered four winners from his last six runners. He was not the only one in the winners circle on Pakenham Cup Day after Aaron Purcell scored well with MIDAS PRINCE.

Snowden Racing did not take long to hit the scoreboard on Saturday at Rosehill after SANCY got the job on debut after two trial wins. Keith Dryden also made the trip from Canberra count along with Laurel Oak Bloodstock when GUNGA DIN strode away for an effortless four length win under Nash Rawiller in the Highway Handicap.

Racing in WA saw MINDARIE score on debut, the grey filly by Safeguard led from start to finish for Paul Jordan and looks to have a bright future whilst Jim Taylor claimed a win with CAROCAPO. David Harrison took home the Listed Sir Ernest Lee-Steere Cla with SANABREANNA and Neville Parnham scored the amazing Group 1 Kingston Town Classic with KAY CEE.

Meanwhile in the Northern Territory, it was another successful day for the Gary Clarke stable after KALMAR and NO ALIBI provided the stable and Kim Gladwin with the final two winners. It was also in the last race on Saturday in Tasmania where JEREMIAH tasted success for Team Brunton.
