Parnham Racing claims Group 2 W.A. Guineas when WAR SAINT wins at Ascot

Neville Parnham basked in the spoils with a double thanks to DOWNFORCE and WAR SAINT who claimed the Group 2 W.A. Guineas giving brothers Brad and Chris each a winner for their father. Jim Taylor also had a magnificent win with CAROCAPO.

Ballarat held court in Victoria on their big Cup Day program and EUPHORIC SUMMER provided Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr the lucrative Magic Millions 2YO Clockwise Classic on the back of finishing second on debut at Caulfield. Cindy Alderson claimed a win with TYCOON BELLA while Kevin Corstens scored a win with KAPLUMPICH.

Kody Nestor scored a win with SNEAK PREVIEW whilst Kembla Grange hosted a Saturday from in NSW and Proven Thoroughbreds where beneficiarys after KYLEASE and Joseph Pride were on the right side of a photo finish leading all the way for a victory. Kim Waugh claimed a massive win with TRUMBULL while it took Snowden Racing until the last but they landed with $11 chance NAPOLEAN SOLO under Tommy Berry over 1400 metres.

Leon Macdonald saddled up short priced favourite DR DEPENDABLE to a tough staying win over 2250 metres, whilst Darby Racing and connections claimed first place with CONSTANT FLIGHT.

Sunday would also have Brunton Racing hit the score board in Tasmania with HEAVENLY LIGHT in the maiden event to the cheer of favourite backers and Ken Keys had success in the Listed Kilmore Cup with AL PASSEM.
