Hall of Fame trainer Lee Freedman claimed the Group 1 Dester Singapore Gold Cup on Sunday with MR CLINT ridden by Melbourne Cup winning jockey Craig Williams, but the wins didn't stop there for Freedman Racing with EXCELLING and OCEAN CROSSING also having success.

Cup week came to an end for another year but it was not without miStable clients making one final impression on Flemington which started early after MANDELA EFFECT won in the most thrilling of finishes for Scott Brunton in the opening race. Following on was Danny OBrien winning the Listed Springtime Stakes with BANQUO.

The success did not stop there, Mick Price Racing topped a hugely successful cup week with a Group 2 win in the Matriarch Stakes after OCEANEX proved the superior mare over 2000 metres meanwhile Griffiths Racing closed out the final race when HALVORSEN showed how good he was fresh when darting through the field under Andrew Mallyon.

Snowden Racing had a day to remember at Rosehill after Tim Clark booted home two winners for the stable while Andrew Adkins also had the honours on one occasion. CALIFORNIA LONGBOW was the first to strike with the son of Pierro appreciating the 1800 metres while next up it was sprinter DAME GISELLE who won the $1 million Golden Gift in her first race win! She had finished second on debut two weeks earlier. The final victory came when REELEM IN RUBY for the pink Triple Crown Racing silks proved too zippy for rivals and broke a run of narrow seconds in the Group 2 Hot Danish. Canberras Matthew Dale also went home a winner after SAUSEDGE made it 6 wins from 10 starts in the final event.

A great result for RED CAN MAN who delivered the spoils for Steve Wolfe in the Listed Fairetha Stakes at Western Australia on Saturday with three wins from four runs this campaign which followed on the success from Grant & Alana Williams earlier when FORCEFUL saluted to the cheer of Wilie Pike punters in Race 2.

Meanwhile in Queensland Team Meagher was shining brightly after TREVELYAN and Ron Stewart combined for a first-up victory by the smallest of margins, while in South Australia Jon OConnor scored a win with MISS LABELLE.

Congratulations to all our overseas winning trainers; Dan Meagher and Lee Freedman (GR1 Dester Gold Cup) in Singapore, Glen Kotzen, Brett Crawford and Mike de Kock in South Africa.

Well done to all who found a winner across the weekend.
