The Pearce Brothers made their mark in Melbourne on Sunday at Caulfield when PUSHIN SHAPES in some famous colours was ridden by Damien Oliver to victory at odds of $34 for the Western Australian boys.


Matthew Williams also had a day to remember on Sunday when his smart unbeaten galloper HARBOUR VIEWS made it four starts for four wins while Gailo Chop returned to form with an excellent third in the Underwood Stakes.


A good string of Saturday success for Steve Wolfe after RED CAN MAN got the job done for favourite backers and later in the day Chris Gangemi had success with MOLTEN and Daniel Morton claimed victory in the Listed Birthday Stakes with MAN BOOKER.


Kelly Schweida showed them how its done at Doomben on Saturday when DESERT MAN and Steph Thornton teamed up the opener. It wouldnt be the last we would have seen either, when his trainer bookended the program when OINK scored in the final race. Thornton was back at it this time for Steve ODea and Proven Thoroughbreds after COOL SEQUENCE delivered at odds of $4.80. Stephen Lee enjoyed success with Jake Bayliss giving PLEASED a lovely winning ride while MR STORM was in winning form for the Laming stable.


David Brideoake claimed a double with SHEPARD and STRATEGIC PHIL while Pat Carey took a win when IMPI was first past the post.


While over in Adelaide, the Richard Jolly team found the winners enclosure when KEMALPASA came over the top of rivals to score and Jon O'Connor scored a winner with MISS LABELLE.
