Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas took on Flemington and conquered on Saturday when the South Australian trained DALASAN won the Group 2 Danehill Stakes under a great ride from Raquel Clark.

John Moloney also tasted success at Headquarters when LEGIONNAIRE broke his maiden in terrific style in the Listed Exford Plate at odds of $21. The Snowden Racing fancy WAYUPINTHESKY would however get punters on the board when taking out the Cap DAntibes Stakes while Matthew Ellerton and Simon Zahra went home happy when ZOUTORI and Linda Meech got the job done.

And while it was the South Australians making headlines at Flemington, it was Paul Preukser back at Morphettville again in the winners stall when ARTY LUCAS made it three straight wins in SA over 2000 metres under Lewis German. David Jolly scored a win with ROCCABASCERANA and Michael Hickmott also claimed a win with CANNOT BE SERIOS.

Daniel Morton also made the winners circle when COLOURFUL CHLOE came in first while Paul Cave scored a thrilling win with SPANISH DREAM.

SKY LAKE and Michael Murphy ensured the winning run of the Chris Munce stable continued when getting the job done at Doomben on Saturday and Kelly Schweida soon followed in when MEET MR TAYLOR now made it 8 wins from 10 starts, totalling $237,525 in stakes earnings. On the back of a treble last week, Steve ODea was still in the thick of the action after LANGHRO made it two straight wins since joining the QLD stable.

After Mystic Journeys brave second placing on Saturday, Adam Trinder was back to doing what he does on Sunday with a treble, two of them for Roll The Dice Racing after ELTONS SONG, BENNY GOES BERZERK and EASY ROAD all saluted.

Congratulations to all our overseas winning trainers; Lee Freedman and Dan Meagher in Singapore, Sean Tarry, Glen Kotzen and Brett Crawford in South Africa.
