Chris & John Meagher have one of the most exciting horses of the Spring on their hands after PIPPIE was impressive winning again with an all the way triumph in Saturdays Cockram Stakes at Caulfield.

David Jolly Racing had a glorious victory when BEHEMOTH claimed the Listed Penny Edition Stakes at Morphettville while Ryan Balfour Racing scored a winner with AAGAS. Cahill Racing took a win with DEXTER YOU DEVIL whilst Clanbrooke Racing claimed a win with REGARDSMAREE.

Danny O'Brien scored well with MY PENDANT taking a win and it was also good to see Symon Wilde in the winners stall when iron galloper ANOTHER COLDIE enjoyed the step up to 2400 metres in the opening race. Darby Racing scored a winner at Rosehill when GOD OF THUNDER was first past the post.

Another trainer with a metropolitan double over the weekend was the Pearce Racing Brothers who are continuing the winning run from last season. DONT FUSS flew around the 1000 metre course and made it seven wins knocking off the odds-on favourite while at nine years of age, MAD BRAD was back a winner at odds of 70/1! Neville Parnham was also on the board at Belmont after KAY CEE saluted with son Steven aboard while Pope Racing claimed a fantastic win with FAIR GLORY.

Jake Bayliss was at his brilliant best aboard the Darryl Hansen trained GO DEEP who looks a smart Deep Field gelding when coming from last over the 1000 metres at Eagle Farm on Saturday while at similar odds of 20/1 and also from the tail, this time Jackson Murphy got the best out of Kelly Schweidas OINK to get the chocolates in the lucky last.

Neil Dyers winning run has continued post the carnival race after LATEST BENTLEY and RUTHS BOY provided the stable with a double at Darwin on Saturday while Adam Trinder achieved the same feat in Tasmania on Sunday after EASY ROAD did the job for favourite backers followed up by Chris Graham again when NEED A MARGARITA knocked off a stack of 'Gee Gee' runners. Brunton Racing didnt miss out when RUETTIGER got the job done for Craig Newitt in the Benchmark 82 event.

A shoutout to Dick Leech Racing who had an amazing five wins out of six races at Kununurra in WA on Saturday.
