Trainers premiership
- Andrew Dale Racing has taken out the Wangaratta Turf Club’s Trainers Premiership. In what is the second premiership for the stable, 54 winners saw ADR claim the coveted award ahead of Ben Brisbourne (49) and Craig Weeding (48).
- ADR finished with a win rate of 11%, along with a 36% place rate.

Past week
- The stable grabbed two winners over the past week.
- Deploy and Destroy ­saluted at Echuca last Friday in race six’s benchmark 52 (1400m). The six-year-old gelding produced a massive run from three wide to salute by a length.
- Mojo Music was the stable’s final winner for season 2023/24 at Albury on Monday, taking out the high quality benchmark 74 (1175m). The speedy six-year-old led from start to finish with Lachie King guiding him to a 1L win.

Upcoming plans
Wodonga
- ADR will kick off season 2024/25 at Wodonga on Sunday with a team of 10 to have a crack on the heavy eight rated surface.
- Kisimul Trust and Manalore will be out to break their maidens in races one and three respectively.
- After an improved run at Albury last start, Bellman will be hoping to improve again in race five’s 0-58 (1590m).
- All eyes will be on More Importance as he guns for a hat-trick of wins in race six’s 0-58 (1100m). Gun apprentice Alysha Warren takes the ride from gate nine.
- Turnaquid and Copperfield go toe-to-toe in race eight’s 0-58 (1300m) with both in solid form.
- Deploy and Destroy will tackle race nine’s 0-58 (1300m) off the back of a huge winning run at Echuca last start, while Wagunda will also feature.
Gundagai
- Three runners will attack Tuesday’s meeting ay Gundagai.
- College Dropout will run the third race of his prep in race five’s benchmark 58 (1180m). The son of Jukebox will be looking for sharp improvement, while Brenlyn’s Trooper will jump from gate one.
- Parabellum has drawn gate eight in race six’s benchmark 58 (1800m).
